ADE and Accreditation Status of Schools
The State Board of Education upheld ADE staff recommendations concerning the accreditation status of Arkansas schools during this morning’s meeting. The Armorel School District received accredited-probationary status, due to counselor/student ratio issue and the Cutter-Morning Star High School received the same status because the failed to obtain a waiver to teach out-of-area for the 2009-10 and 2010-11 school year.
The Mayflower Middle School also received accredited-probationary status because the school failed to obtain a waiver for a teacher to teach out-of-area during the 2010-2011 school year.
