The Public Charter School Dissemination Grant Application for 2011 is now available on ArkansasEd.org. The dissemination grant can be awarded for up to $25,000. Per federal guidelines, public charter schools eligible for this grant must meet the following guidelines:

The public charter school has been in operation for at least three consecutive years and has demonstrated overall success including:

1. Substantial progress in improving student academic achievement
2. High levels of parent satisfaction; and
3. The management and leadership necessary to overcome initial start-up problems and establish a thriving, financially viable charter school.

As these grants are competitive, the deadline for submission for this grant is 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28. All grants must be submitted directly to the Public Charter Schools Office at the Arkansas Department of Education. Please see the instructions as outlined in the grant information.
