Susan Waggener, the 2009 Arkansas Teacher of the Year, was in Dallas last weekend on one of her first official outings as Arkansas TOY. She and ADE staffer Gloria Stephens attended the National Teacher of the Year Program Conference.
Waggener, a mathematics and business education teacher at West Memphis High School, was awarded the state title in December at a ceremony at the State Capitol.
