January 30, 2009

Congratulations to Dr. Jerry Guess, superintendent of the Camden Fairview School District, for being named the 2009 Arkansas Superintendent of the Year by the Arkansas Association of School Administrators. Dr. Guess, who will be recognized at the Arkansas State Board of Education meeting on Monday, learned of the award in a surprise announcement at a school board meeting in December. “Jerry is very deserving of this honor as he has been a phenomenal leader for his school district,” said Dr. Ken James, Arkansas Commissioner of Education.
